Imphal, January 29 2020:
After rumours of a novel coronavirus infected patient admitted at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal went viral on social media sites, the hospital's Medical Superintendent has filed a police complaint urging cyber crime unit to take action on the matter and clarified that there is no such patient at RIMS.
It may be noted that the rumour is being widely circulating on social media sites such as Facebook and WhatsApp.
Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Professor Ch Arunkumar, in his complaint to the Imphal West Police, said that there is no confirmed case in India and also in Manipur.
