Protest demanding arrest of culprits continues

Imphal, August 22 2020:
The Joint Action Committee (JAC) formed in connection with the death of Laishram Angamba of Ningthoukhong today continued to stage protest demonstrations demanding arrest of the culprit(s).
AMUCO, Meira Paibi Apunba Lup, UCOBID and local clubs and organisations in Ningthoukhong extended their support today, said a release of the JAC.
The JAC also said, AMUCO president Nando Luwang has assured to support in the further course of action taken up by the JAC, local clubs and Meira Paibi bodies.
It may be mentioned here that Laishram Angamba Singh (22) son of L Biren Singh of Ningthoukhong Ward Number 14 was found dead on August 15 at Thambal Houbi Uku Makhong, Ningthoukhong Awang Ward Number one.
The JAC had submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister demanding arrest of culprit(s) within 5 days (by August 20) .
As the Government has not responded, the JAC had announced to stage various forms of protest demonstrations until the culprit(s) is arrested.
