Imphal, July 17 2016:
In yet another humanistic medical care, JNIMS
will begin treating a patient who is suffering from paralysis.
In 2012, Bijaya had accidently slipped afterwhich she
suffered from paralysis from the neck down.
She returned to
her paternal house at Heirangoithong Maibam Leikai for medi-
cal treatment.
However, due to financial problem, Bijaya could not afford
medical care.
Seeing her condition, Meira Paibis of
Heirangoithong Maibam Leikai admitted her to JNIMS.
Heirangoithong Maibam Leikai Meira Paibi member H
Landhoni said that Bijiya was admitted to JNIMS after learn-
ing about the free medical treatment to the poor and needy.
"We are hopeful that she will recover and live a normal life
along with her three children," she said.
