Felicitation programmes held at Kakching and Thoubal district

A felicitation ceremony was hosted today for the 19th position holder of Martin Grammar School, Kakching N Minikent and high marks scorers of the school in the HSCL examination conducted by BOSEM.
Organised by management committee of the school at the campus, the ceremony was attended by secretary of school management committee P Somorendro as chief guest, founder Ksh Nopur as president and headmaster M Manihar as guest of honour.
A cash prize of Rs 5000 was given to the position holder by the school committee while the school teachers contributed money totalling Rs 9,500 and handed it over to Minikent.
A total of 28 1st Divisioners were also awarded with a cash prize of Rs 1000 each.
Meanwhile, Rural Peoples Educational and Development Organisation (RUPEDO), Langmeidong hosted its 20th meritorious award for the HSLC toppers of Langmeidong Private Centre at Langmeidong Dramatic Union hall today.
Manipur Pollution Control Board Chairman L Radhakishore Singh (MLA) graced the occasion as chief guest, RUPEDO president as well as Chairman of MANIDCO and MANITRON Dr Yumnam Radheshyam Singh (MLA) as president and Thoubal Zilla Parishad member Chingtham ongbi Shanti Devi as guest of honour.
Cash prizes were given to the first three toppers of Langmeidong Private Centre as well as 2nd, 15th and 20th position holder' of Eureka Academy, Thounaojam.
Subject toppers were also awarded with cash prizes from the donations given to the school by different patrons.
In the meantimne, successful candidates under Changamdabi Gram Panchayat who scored more than 65% were felicitated by Youth Development Committee, Changamdabi Gram Panchayat at Kangla Ukok Memorial English School today.
The felicitation programme was organised under the sponsorship of Changamdabi Gram Panchayat Pradhan Md Imran Shah.
Medical Officer of Machi PHC, Dr Md Farid Mubarak, Pradhan Imran Shah, Vice- Principal of Kangla Ukok Memorial English School Kh Dhananjoy, vice-president of Changamdabi Muhhamaddan Club Md Abdul Gafar and Changamdabi Gram Panchayat ward no 4 member MD Soukat Ali attended the programme as dignitaries.
