Farewell cum condolence ceremony held

Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council Teachers Association (SHADCTA) organized a farewell cum condolence ceremony to three retired employees and eight other departed souls yesterday at conference Hall, ADC Sadar Hills.
T Manihar Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Sadar Hills Autonomous District, Th Lhingkhnei Lotzem, Addl CEO, SHADC Kangpokpi, Chinnu Kipgen, Inspector, SHADC Kpi, Rebek Lalparvul, Finance Officer, SHADC Kpi, Thangjalal Touthang, Dy Inspector of Schools attended the ceremony as presidium members.
Apart from other department officials, office bearers of SHADCTA, retired, employees and bereaved family of the deceased employees also attended the ceremony.
Letkhohao Lhouvum, president SHADCTA, Jangngam Chongloi, secretary of the Association read out the names of the retired and deceased teachers.A minute silence was ob served as a tribute to the eight departed employees namely Letkhohao Touthang, Asst Teacher, Sehjahao Gangte, Headmaster, Letkhongam Haokip, Asst Teacher, Sylvia Lalsangi Thangjom, Asst Teacher, Chongboi Kipgen, Asst Teacher, Lamtinlen Haokip, Asst Teacher, Daily Rose Gangmei, Asst Teacher and Nengneilhing Chongloi, Asst Teacher who had expired within the period of February 2017 to February 2018 .
SHADCTA also bid farewell to the three retired employees namely Thangkholal Sitlhou, DIS, Kamkholet, Headmaster and Letkhothang, Headmaster with cash, shawl and appreciation while wishing them lots of happiness ahead to the three employees retired on superannuation within the period of October 2017 to December 2017.The association also expressed condolence to the bereaved family of the deceased employees with presentation of cash, shawl and acknowledgement.
The presents were handed over to the retired teachers and the bereaved families by CEO, Addl CEO, Inspector, Finance Officer and Dy Inspector of Schools.
While speaking at the function, T Manihar Singh acknowledged the vast contribution of the retired teachers as well as the deceased employees and conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved family and gave sincere farewell to the retired teachers.
He also said that the door of District Council Administration will always be open for them while appealing the staff of SHADC to render utmost cooperation towards all the retired employees and bereaved families.
