Imphal, January 10 2013:
Slamming the Assam Rifles and the state government for their secret policies to demoralise the ongoing revolutionary movement by staging surrender dramas, the proscribed UG group, Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) has called upon the people of Manipur to stand united against such policies.
In a statement, RPF said that the recent incident of seven youths who were taken to 42 AR camp on the pretext of providing job was a proof of the clandestine operations of the security forces and the state government.
However, it is not a new thing for the AR to arrange such youths or retired UG cadres with promises of jobs and money to take part in surrender dramas.
In such a situation, every section of the society should speak out against such dirty policies of the security forces which will create a huge gap between the youths and the society as more and more youths are being secluded from the society after taking part in such surrender dramas.
It is now upto the people of the state to stop such activities to save the society from similar incidents, the RPF statement said.
Meanwhile, RPF is minutely observing the activities of the security forces and stalking them for possible chances to strike, the statement warned.
