Medical camps conducted at various places

Raj Medicity, Imphal under its CSR Scheme organised Medical Relief Camps in two relief camps at Moirang and Kumbi today to give relief to the suffering inmates of the relief camps.
In a release, Raj Medicity informed that following the recent violence in the State, many stranded people are taking shelter at the relief camps opened in different places across the State.
During the camp, a team led by Haobijam Rajen Singh, chairman & managing director, Raj Medicity, provided various services to the inmates including free OPD facilities for Paediatrics, Medicine, Surgery, Obs & Gynae, Orthopaedics, ultrasound, ECG, RBS.
Free medicines were also provided to the inmates.

Altogether, 458 persons were examined during the camp (Moirang Relief camp- 350, Kumbi Relief camp- 108) .
At the event, Haobijam Rajen called for peace & harmony in the State and added that Raj Medicity will continue to organise similar medical camp in the future.
Besides, similar medical camps were also held at the relief camps opened at Pukhao Terapur, Pukhao Khabam and the residence of Khundrakpam AC MLA, Th Lokeshwar in Sagolmang, today.
The medical camps were conducted under the aegis of Chief Medical Officer Imphal East and Sagolmang Community Health Centre.
During the camp, a medical team consisting of 7 doctors provided medical care to the people taking shelter at the relief camps due to the ongoing conflict in the State.
Speaking to media persons, Keisham Dilip, PRO of Khundrakpam AC MLA, claimed that about 300 houses have been destroyed in Ekou, Sadu Yenkhongba, Dolaithabi and Leitanpokpi areas by unknown miscreants.
He continued that people from the areas are now taking shelter at the relief camps opened in 15 places under Khundrakpam AC.
Dilip further extended his gratitude to the clubs, organisations and generous donors who have provided voluntary aid including food, clothes and other essential items to the relief camps.
