IRCS organises one day orientation programme

Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch has organised a one-day orientation programme for COVID-19, frontline volunteers at a District Screening Centre, Tengkonjang Hr Sec School, Noney district, today.
Eight members team of Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch led by Dr N Amulkumar, secy IRCS Imphal East & Dr L Manglem Singh, Jt secy IRCS - Manipur State Branch spread awareness about COVID-19 to the volunteers.
Dr L Manglem Singh spoke on how to serve the people during natural calamity or pandemic while A Nabachandra JRC/YRC- coordinator, IRCS - Manipur State Branch, demonstrated ways to use a facemask, hand sanitizer, hand gloves, PPE etc.
Namlalung Gangmei, SDO Noney, Dr Azin Maringmei, in- charge Dist Control Room, Agui Kamei, correspondent AIR Tml/Noney, member Dist Surveillance Committee & around 20 volunteers participated the said programme.
Tent, tarpaulin, hand gloves & hand sanitizer were also handover to the volunteers of Noney.
The State Unit team also donated relief materials to the landslide victim family of Longmai Bazar.
On the other hand, Indian Red Cross Society, IW branch also organised an awareness programme on "Psychosocial support and stress management" at Langthabal, Mantrikhong, Thong Ahanbi.
