MBC Centre Church continues its Green Sunday mission

To conserve environment, Forest Department in partnership with MBC Centre Church on Saturday presented tree saplings to the green champions of the Sunday School, worshippers of the Afternoon Service, founder and staff of Elles' Cakes and Bakes, Churches and individuals.
The saplings were presented as a continuation of MBC Centre Church's earnest endeavour to preserve forest and environment which started with celebration of Green Sunday.

The Church had observed one of its important Calendar Events � Green Sunday on June 2.The Forest Department, Government of Manipur raised the curtain of the planting season of the Church.
This largest Cosmopolitan Church of Manipur, representing all the communities, regards itself as a 'Green Ambassador' earnestly taking a commendable role in the � Go Green, Go Fruitful Manipur.
Saplings were presented to around 2,000 worshippers on Green Sunday.
On Saturday, the two partners (MBC Centre Church and Forest Department) gave saplings to the Women Department, MBC, young girl students of Legacy Home, MBC, inmates of Dorcas Compassion Home and members of Dorcas Children Club.
