Imphal, February 02 2016:
People's Action for National Democratic
Movement (PANDM) has expressed concern over the prevailing
state of affairs in RIMS.
In a statement, PANDM said that RIMS authorities have
still not clarified over the 116 staff nurse recruitment where
leakage of question papers was reported.
The inquiry committee set up to look into the matter has
reported no wrongdoings and the final selection list was out
on January 6.Out of the 116 candidates selected, results of
22 candidates have been kept pending due to the earlier Court
case.
It also said that RIMS has become the breeding ground
of corruption as the higher-ups have flatly denied of any
wrongdoings, but the fact is there is no candidates recom-
mended by external DPC member in the final list of staff nurse
recruitment.
On January 16, RIMS has issued notification regarding
recruitment of 134 regular multi-tasking staff and before the
last date (February 8) expired, another notification came out
regarding recruitment of contract basis multi-tasking staff,
PANDM pointed out while seeking to know the rationale
behind this development from the RIMS authorities.
It seems like the RIMS authorities are doing whatever they
please without any hindrance from others and PANDM would
not take the matter lightly, it added.
