The CM N Biren Singh led State Government also consults the elderlies of the State at various instances, he claimed.
SCS Wangoi Chapter was established on this day in 2013, so as to give a platform for the elderlies, he said, adding that late former Chief Minister Wahengbam Nipamacha, contributed immensely in ensuring the establishment of the SCS Wangoi Chapter.
The MLA then informed that the State Government is working hard to provide old age pension to the elderlies above the age of 60 (those who have not already become beneficiaries of the pension scheme) .
