KSO-SH suspends stir, CHC Kpi resumes services

The Kuki Students' Organisation Sadar Hills has put on hold its proposed 24 hr total bandh which is to be followed by indefinite economic blockade on all national highway within Sadar Hills.
The proposed agitations has been suspended in view of the ongoing Class XI and XII Practical examinations and the appeal made by various student bodies as well as the Election Code of Conducts being enforced in all Government institutions/departments, said Thangminlen Kipgen, president KSO Sadar Hills.
But the decision of the students' body does not mean that the proposed agitations has been totally withdrawn added the student body chief saying that the Govt as well as authorities concerned should initiate all possible measures to honour the KSO demands at the earliest.
He also cautioned that KSO will enforce the suspended agitation just after the Lok Sabha polls if the state Govt as well as those responsible remain silent taking advantage of the suspended agitations and ignore the demands.
In the meantime, the CHC Kangpokpi (Kanggui) resumed its 24x7 health services from today following posting of two more doctors in utilization basis at the centre.
In this connection the KSO, Sadar Hills conveyed gratitude and appreciated swift action taken by Jacintha Lazarus, DC, Senapati and the Director, Medical and HS for addressing grievances of the doctors as well as the general public.
