Accident victims rescued by AR

Kakching Battalion of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) provided medical assistance to accident victim at Tampi village under Chakpikarong Sub-Divison, Chandel District on February 22.On receiving information regarding a Motorcycle meeting with an accident at Tampi Village, a medical team of Salluk Post of Kakching battalion was immediately rushed to the site.
The medical team immediately evacuated and administered first aid to the victim identified as Morning Anal (19) s/o Wangtil Anal of Tampi village and also informed his family members.
After the first aid was administered at Salluk post, the patient was referred to Primary Health Centre, Chakpikarong.
Local present at accident site and family members of victim expressed their gratitude to the Salluk Post of the Kakching Battalion for speedy and timely action.
Meanwhile, A patrolling party of AR Moreh Battalion rescued accident victims on NH-102 near Moreh town today who were stuck inside the van after a bolero collided with the van causing serious injuries to three person.
The patrolling team pulled out the injured persons from the van and provided first aid who were later admitted at a unit hospital at Moreh for further treatment.
The injured persons were reportedly residents of Thoubal and were travelling in Van from Moreh to Thoubal.
The collision has also caused major damage to the Van.
Quick decision and swift action by RMO, the team of Assam Rifles helped save precious life of civilians today.
