He blamed all successive Governments of Manipur for failing to provide good governance to the people for a long time.
All the achievements of Manipur in the areas like sports, culture and many others are not to be credited with the State Government because such feats are achieved only through commitment, quality and hard work of individuals, the minister maintained.
He further insisted that the Congress Government headed by Okram Ibobi has not done enough for its people as it was evident from the deplorable road conditions in all areas from Imphal to Chandel district headquarters which he had travelled through during the trip.
Rijiju expressed doubts about the dreamy condition of road connectivity in interior village areas of Chandel after personally witnessing the district headquarters' very bad road condition. The minister said that in a democratic set up, it is the bounden duty of the electorate to teach a lesson to the ruling Government which is unwilling to admit its blunder.
