State BJP ready for 'Jail Bharo'

BJP Manipur Pradesh is all set to participate in the nationwide "Jail Bharo" stir decrying anti people policies of the UPA government in India on June 22 .
A decision to this effect was arrived at during a party meeting held at its Nityapat Chuthek office this afternoon with party President Santikumar in the chair.
Speaking to mediapersons after the meeting, Secretary Media Affairs of the party Basantakumar said that BJP has been campaigning against the anti-people policies and activities of the UPA government since June 7 in consonance with the resolution taken in its national meeting held in New Delhi on May 31 with BJP National President Nitin Gadkari in the chair.
As part of the nationwide campaign, BJP workers throughout the country would be launching "Jail Bharo" stir, Shantikumar informed and added that nationwide campaign is being planned against the economic policy of the UPA government, which increased the price of petrol numerous times during its seven years' tenure.
Moreover, the UPA government is being biased in its conduct towards Non-congress states.
The campaign under the name Jana Sangharsh Abhiyan, to raise public voice against the policies of the UPA government which challenges the structure of federalism system in the country, Shantikumar alleged.
