REACH-M organises interaction program

Under the project titled " Humanitarian support to the people affected by conflict in Kashmir, Manipur and Andra Pradesh States of India", the Rural Education and Action for Change, Manipur (REACH-M) organised a one day interaction programme for village community and Government officials at Senam village in Chandel district today, reports our correspondent.
Organised under the European Commission Humanitarian Organization (ECHO) project for effective implementation of Government's flagship programmes, the programme was graced by L Kiran Kumar, Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Tengnoupal as the resource person.
During the programme, L Kiran Kumar deliberated on the topic "Intensive participatory planning exercise under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MG NREGS)" and others flagship programmes such as Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Mid Day Meal (MDM), Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Public Distribution System (PDS) .
REACH-M's ECHO project in-charge Alung Kamei , Senam village chief Tongkholun Haokip, women leaders, youth leaders and Church leaders also attended the interaction programme.
