Tangkhul Baptist leaders meet concludes

The four days meet of the leaders of Tangkhul Baptist Churches for strengthening the fellowship of Christian community in the Tangkhul region was concluded today at Dr Earl Brooke conference hall Alungtang, Ukhrul.
The four days events were attended by host of Ordained Ministers & Licentiate Pastors from different churches of Tangkhul villages organized by Tangkhul Baptist Churches Association (TBCA).
The first day of the meeting was begun with a keynote address from the Executive Secretary Mathotmi Vasha Tangkhul Baptist Churches Association (TBCA) highlighting the objective of hosting religious leadership meet while the second and third day saw discussion on how to bring unity among the Christian community, particularly in the Baptist family.
During the meeting, some of the church leaders shared their personal testimonies and their field experiences in raising their congregation members.
President of TBCA council Jonah M Solo deliberated on the contemporary challenges and the approaches for resolving the issues through paper presentation while Project Officer FXB, India Suraksha Wungreiso Shangh enlightened the religious leaders on the increasing crimes of human trafficking in the Christian dominated area of Ukhrul.
A prayer session to bring an early and peaceful solution of the Indo-Naga peace talks was also held during the meeting.
