KIMACS celebrates 20th foundation day

Imphal, March 13 2023: The 20th foundation day celebration of Kanglei Indigenous Martial Arts and Cultural Society (KIMACS) was held today at Temple of Thang-Ta Complex, Yaral Pat.

A press note by KIMACS informed that the foundation day celebration was graced by Athokpam Ojendro Lanchingpurel Senapati, Sanakonung; Ningthoujam Ajitkumar Mangang, President KIMACS; Advisors of KIMACS namely Irom Ibomcha Mangang; Maibam Surjaboro Meitei; Leitanthem Dhamendro; Arambam Tondang Meitei and Samukcham Greville Brown.

Speaking at the occasion, Ningthoujam Ajitkumar Mangang maintained that KIMACS ever since its inception has been working earnestly to safeguard and promote the indigenous culture and traditions of the State so that its legacy will be carried forth to coming generations for a strong and developed society.

Further he called for collective efforts to protect the society from all forms of unwanted influence and to prevent its further degradation.

On the occasion of its foundation day, he urged all to work in unison to promote peace and solidarity among the different communities.
