"Go to the Hills" seems to be echoing in the valley alone: LVA

Educational institutions in the far flung areas of the State have been facing innumerable problems ranging from shortage of teachers to infrastructural issues .
In a fresh, "Go to the Hills" slogan of the Chief Minister of the State seems to be echoing in the valley alone, alleged a chairman of a village in Tamenglong district .
Machengluang (Lamlaba) Village Authority today condemned the Government and Department of Education (s) for ignoring educational development in the region .
Lamlaba Junior High School was upgraded to High School status in the year 2011 vide a Government order No 8/1/10-SE(S)/R/RS dated Dec 16.The school currently has two asst teachers, alleged the chairman of the village authority, Namjinlungbou Abonmai in a statement issued today .
The school is currently run by seven local volunteers, a chowkidar and the two Govt teachers, alleged the chairman.
He furthers that the Right to Education remains dream for the village without adequate teachers .
The chairman alleged that despite multiple complaints to authorities concerned, there is no development of any kind .
He further appealed State Government and related authorities to look into the matter and provide the basic needs of the village in education.
