4th anniversary of Digital India held
Imphal East highlights initiatives taken up under the campaign

The 4th anniversary of PM Modi's flagship programme, 'Digital India' was organised in Imphal East district today, highlighting the transformation of the public services ecosystem through the use of information technology.
Deputy Commissioner Imphal East, Zilla Parishad members, SDOs, BDOs and all the District level Officers of Imphal East District attended the event.
The Government of India launched Digital India on July 1, 2015 with the vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledgeable economy.
Under the campaign, Imphal East district also took up various initiatives such as VAHAN/ SARATHI, which is implemented at DTO Imphal East, where citizens can download their RC and driving license through a mobile App, ALIS (Arm License Issuance System).
Arm License issuance is regularized and monitored in the said app.
Land records for all the 7 (seven) circles under Imphal East districts had also been computerised, DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) has been implemented in various Central and State sponsored schemes viz, NREGA, NSAP, PMAY, NRLM, PMKISAN, Ayushman Bharat, Family Planning Compensation schemes, Janani Suraksha Yojana, Scholarship, etc.
To strengthen the idea of Digital India programme, Deputy Commissioner Imphal East district launched two more digital initiatives today namely -
1.Loucha Pathap: With a view to streamline land record computerization, online software, "Louchapathap.nic.in" was launched for an effective, transparent and efficient delivery of land records to the public, which the service will be available 24*7 .
.2DM Dashboard: To monitor various scheme and programme implemented in the district, a portal, "mn.dmdashboard.nic.in" was also launched to facilitate presentation of real time data on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of selected schemes/projects (in form of comparison graph, numeric values, percentage) to the district administration which can be used for planning, evaluation and monitoring.
The DC assured that district e-service program will be implemented soon for Imphal East for which six computer systems will be issued to the Circle SDCs, where various certificates will be made available to the public online.
The DC also announced that payment of fees for Arms Licence and collection of Land Revenue at the Sub-Divisional level will also be carried out through e-payment system through PoS.
