Manipur born MP attends Ningol Chakkouba in Delhi, assures aid to make celebration bigger

Manipur-born Member of Parliament from Darjeeling, Raju Bista attended Ningol Chakkouba held at GLT Saraswati Bal Mandir School, Lajpat Nagar in Delhi today.
Lok Sabha MP from Delhi, Meenakshi Lekhi, Jt General Secretary of RSS Dr Krishna Gopal, and BJP Mahila Morcha National Vice President Sarda Devi also attended the event, that strengthens the relationship between brothers and sisters.
Organized annually, the Delhi Ningol Chakkouba program showcases the rich cultural heritage of Manipur and is attended by people from different cultures and ethnicity.
The festival aims to improve cultural understanding, build connections and encourage one-to-one interactions between people from the North East and local communities in Delhi.
While addressing the gathering, MP Bista highlighted that Manipur, even after 72 years of Independence has not realized its full potential.
He mentioned that over the past few years, the Government has been taking important steps towards ensuring good governance and inclusive development in the State.
MP Bista highlighted the tremendous potential of Manipur in the field of Sports, Tourism, Cultural Heritage, and IT industry that can benefit from various Government programs like Digital India.
Thanking the organizing committee for the invitation, he suggested that the next Ningol Chakouba program should be organized on a larger scale so that the richness of Manipur's culture and tradition reaches more people.
He assured all possible help from his end to make the annual event an even bigger celebration.
