Many pray for peace, harmony in State

Expressing dismay over the recent conflict which has posed a serious threat to the bond of brotherhood and harmony among the communities residing in the State, many organisations and groups have appealed to all the people of Manipur to refrain from any form of violence and come together for a peaceful solution.
North American Bangladesh Manipuri Society, Inc.
has appealed to the Government of Manipur and all stakeholders to take immediate action to bring back peace & normalcy in the State.
"We, the members of North American Bangladesh Manipuri Society, Inc.
people of Manipur origin are deeply saddened and concerned by the current crisis in Manipur.
We offer our united and unequivocal condolences to each one who has lost their loved ones irrespective of caste, creed, gender, rank, file, prestige or religion", said a release issued by North American Bangladesh Manipuri Society, Inc.
The Society shared that they are at a loss seeing the colossal waste of human lives where communities have been torn apart and brother has turned against brother, sister against sister, neighbour against neighbour.
North American Bangladesh Manipuri Society appealed to all stakeholders to shun violence and come together for peaceful negotiation to restore peace & harmony in Manipur.
The Tingkao Ragwang Chapriak Phom (Assam, Manipur & Nagaland) has conducted a special programme to pray for peace, harmony and unity in Manipur.
In a release, Tingkao Ragwang Chapriak Phom has appealed to all the communities of Manipur to remember their religious teachings and set aside their differences to bring peace and prosperity in the State.
Moreover, Thangmeiband Kendra Development Organisation also organised a mass prayer today at Leone Community Hall in Thangmeiband to pray for peace & normalcy in Manipur.
During the event, Thangmeiband AC MLA, Khumukcham Joykisan Singh led a large gathering of people belonging to different communities from Thangmeiband AC in offering flowers and praying to the Almighty God for peace, unity & harmony in the State.
