No State's colleges in National ranking, an embarrassment, says Dr RK Ranjan

Union Minister of State External Affairs and Education Dr RK Ranjan has stated that Manipur colleges failing to make it to the top 100 of nationally ranked colleges is an embarrassment.
The statement was made at an event held today at Kumbi College Auditorium Hall to inaugurate an indoor stadium.
Dr RK Ranjan expressed his disappointment that none of the 75+ colleges in Manipur made it to the aforementioned list.
He made an appeal to the teachers to perform their duties towards their students properly and not merely focus their attention on their salaries.
He also acknowledged the efforts of the teaching and non-teaching staff of Kumbi College and pledged to donate 10 solar panels worth Rs 50,000 each.
The event was attended by RK Ranjan as Chief guest; M Mangi Singh, president Kumbi College Governing Body as functional president and former Minister N Mangi Singh, M Asnikumar Singh and K Jugeshore Singh, Principal Kumbi College as guests of honour.
