BGVS extends relief to COVID Care Centre, Senapati

The Bhartia Gyan Vigyan Samiti (BGVS), Manipur had again extended help with varieties of fruits to all COVID positive patients lodged at COVID Care Centre, Senapati.
There are reportedly around 75 positive cases who are undergoing treatment at the centre.
All of them are returnees from various States of the country.
Dr Biplab Ghose, National Executive Committee member of the BGVS who is also in-charge of the North East said that the Bhartia Gyan Vigyan Samiti (BGVS), Manipur are helping the needy people with rations during this global pandemic.
Mention may be that the BGVS has been extending assistance with food items even to Community Quarantine Centres at different places of the district and the non local labours in the past since the beginning of the nationwide lockdown starting from late March this year.
The team visited the COVID Care Centre, Senapati with varieties of fruits and packaged drinking water for all the patients who are in the centre to show solidarity in their fight against the novel virus.
Dr Rocky, one of the medical doctors who are posted at the centre said the square meal provided for the inmates at the centre might not be sufficient for them.
Such yeoman service rendered by the BGVS could be much help to the COVID positive patients at the centre, he added.
