Minister Dikho extends support to UPSC aspirants

Perceiving many students' lack of financial support in pursuing the coveted UPSC's Civil Services, L Dikho, Minister PHED, Printing and Stationary, Government of Manipur, extended Rs 2 lakh each to 6 students including three orphans of Khongdei circle to help them enrol in the UPSC coaching institutes in Delhi.
The students who received the grants are RS Barney Kavei S/o RV Standhope, Newlandson Samuel Angam S/o (L) K Samuel Angam, LP Maranchan S/o (L) L Peter, Tennyson Lamvah S/o CL Yangmi, Vangam Rinya S/o L Topson and Simeon Lithos S/o (L) Rev K Simeon.
Khongdei Circle is not under his (Minister) constituency nor it is near or adjacent to his own constituency or village, yet enthusiastically with big heart, he extended his help, said the villagers praising the Minister.
The Minister had earlier sponsored financially backward students from various circles to receive free education from Asufii Christian Institute(ACI), Punanamei.
The village folks expressed that the Minister has so much concern for the downtrodden.
'He assists the people especially in the field of education which is the foundation for poverty alleviation in the society.
From his noble initiative we learnt about his personality and that he is unbiased between poor and rich and help all those who are in need' reiterates one of the village leader.
Also, the Minister has special care and concerns for the mission workers.
The vivid evidence is his pilgrimage assistance of Mission workers of MBCA, MRNBA, PNBA, and TNBA to Holy Land Tour (Jerusalem) which was a long cherished dream to many mission workers.
We are proud and fortunate to have such a broad minded leader in our society serving the needs of the public.
We should continue to promote such leaders in our society to attain greater heights.
