The Maoist Communist Party of Manipur today in a press statement clarified that Maoist did not make any monetary demand from the construction work of State Nursing Home under the National Rural Health Mission and no other monetary demands were made to any other departments.

When the truth is found, Maoist will declare the men behind the act to the public.
It also appealed to the people of the state to inform Maoist on its website www.maoistpartymanipur.webs.com if any monetary demand in the name of Maoist came to them.
The statement further cautioned those who stand against the movement of Maoist to stay aware that they might face unwanted situation in future if they continue to defame the party.

Declaring Longjam Sunil as a reactionary, the statement also maintained that Maoist is against the principle of accusing someone after giving punishment.
Maoist further stated that the party will not support or stand against any party or individual in the upcoming Assembly Election.
Maoist does not believe in the Indian Parliamentary System.

Similar type of precautionary measures will also be taken up in regard of Shumaang Leela and musical events soon, it stated.
