Daniel hopes for civil services

Imphal, June 12 2011:
Like his topper colleague, Soubam Daniel, who secured third position, wants to clear the UPSC conducted civil service exams.
He said that he wanted to continue his study on the general line and become a civil service officer.
Daniel is the youngest son of Soubam Dhanabir and Pushparani of Keishamthong Elangbam Leikai.
He is the youngest of three children.
He said, he read only one hour per day when classes were conducted in the school, but he read eight to nine hours a day when he prepared for the exams.
He took private tuitions for most of the subjects except in English.
Asked about his further studies, he expressed his willingness to continue study in a school in the state even though there were disturbances due to frequent bandhs, blockades and strikes.
His father is a district industries officers now posted in Senapati.
