Student intake capacity at TG Hr Sec school to be increased

Education Minister Thokchom Radheshyam has said the seat intake capacity of TG Higher Secondary School would be increased by 150 seats.
He said that the decision to increase the number of seats was taken in the interest of the students and parents .
The Minister conducted a social service at TG Higher Secondary School today.
He also inspected laboratories, classrooms, hostel and other infrastructures of the school.
He assured that necessary requirements of the school specially the flooded laboratory and the under-construction girls' hostel that need repairing will be done as soon as possible .
The Minister said it is delightful to see that there is heavy rush for admission in Government higher secondary schools.
The government schools are equipped with the most qualified teachers.
If they could put a little extra effort then the best could be brought out, he said .
The owners of the neighbouring buildings encroaching the school property were asked to extend support in restoring the school areas .
The Minister also heard the grievances putforth by the teachers and assured that certain plans have been taken up like releasing of teachers' salary by first of every month.
He also urged the teachers to be sincere and be committed to their profession setting a target to make their students one of the best .
In the social service at TG Higher Secondary School Director Education (S) Th Kirankumar, Engineering team and other officials of Education Department part from Principal, teachers and non-teaching staff of the school were also present .
Later, the minister went to inspect various areas of his constituency.
