Imphal, October 08 2011:
Greeting the people on the occasion of its 34th foundation day, chairman of People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (Progressive), PREPAK (Pro) Paliba M observed that the outfit has been set up with the main objective of bringing about unity among all the revolutionary groups fighting for the cause of liberation.
In his message to the people on the occasion of 34th foundation day of PREPAK (Pro), Chairman Paliba M said that along with promotion of better relationship among the various revolutionary groups, the outfit is today confident of giving a serious jolt to the Government of India.
Towards solving the problems afflicting Manipuri society in a systematic manner under a collective unity, PREPAK (Pro) is also ready to make every possible sacrifice in the interest of all.
Elaborating on the efforts being taken up by PREPAK (Pro) towards realization of its objective, Chairman Paliba M said that first focus is to find out the crux of the conflict between people in the hills and the valley as well as among the hill people and strive for a common destiny.
The second focus is to mitigate the suffering of the people from the violence unleashed by the Government.
The third focus is to counter hidden agendas of the Government of India being perpetrated in the name of counter insurgency.
The fourth focus is to encourage the teachers to dedicate themselves to the service of educating the students without threat from any quarters in a safe and secure environment.
The fifth focus is to monitor the behaviour of the students and prevent them from falling prey to drugs.
The sixth focus is to make necessary arrangements in advance for a National Economic Policy so as to ensure economic sustainability and development for all communities, and lastly to stock up necessary weaponry for giving befitting reply to the enemy.
Expressing concern over rising communal tension over the demand for a revenue district in the State today, Paliba M observed that suppression of the people by the Government of India would never end and no development would come about regardless of whether we create more revenue districts or not.
So, we should protect and think about smaller communities and work towards promotion of trust among all and this would be possible only after Kangleipak attains its freedom.
The chairman contended that absence of an economic policy which could take care of the common people, the divide and rule policy being practiced which has encouraged fraternal killings has reduced Kangleipak to a military-ruled Nation today.
Everyone should understand that we are today at a critical stage where our own identity would be lost.
Today, Delhi Government is a Government facing corruption charges in various quarters and we could gain nothing from the political strategy of its leaders who are trying to pull down each other and no political parties which are addicted to power would ever be able to understand our human rights.
India Government has never and is not going to ensure our economic rights/power.
It is we ourselves who have to find our path, Paliba M exhorted.
Paliba M went on to say that offering some monetary benefit to some deserters or forcing arrested UGs to take part in surrender drama would never be able to change our mind, and we know this is nothing but a ploy of India Government .
We also understand that the peace talk offer of India Government is an open attempt to subdue the cry for liberation of the people.
Observing that the ongoing liberation movement has reached a critical stage today, Paliba M categorically stated that no one should cause hardship to the people through imposition of blockade/counter blockade or resort to calling general strike, bandh without any valid reason or indulge in any action which could imperil the future of the students.
Everyone should also refrain from saying or doing anything that could cause misunderstanding among the people, and in case of any problem, the involved communities should settle it through talk.
Paliba M also appealed to the people to approach the member concerned of PREPAK (Pro) if they do not agree or want correction over the plan of action laid out.
