Manipur Govt Services' Federation warns to launch series of agitations

Imphal, May 06 2018:
A special general body meeting of Manipur Government Services' federation was held today with Advisor H Yaima president Dr M Rajendra and JAC of AMTUC & AMGEO ex secretary general; Ch Chandramani Singh as presidium members.
In view of the undue delay in implementation of 7th Central Pay, the employee leaders have unanimously resolved to launch a mass casual leave on May 5 and cease work strike from May 16 to 20 .
It also decided to lock offices from May 21 onwards, conveyed a press release issued by general secretary of Manipur Government Services' Federation.
The leaders cautioned that these agitations will be launched and continued until the issuance of relevant order.
Meanwhile, the meeting deliberated on the movement towards implementation of 7th Central Pay in the State despite of assurance given by CM N Biren and the Govt.The meeting representing all Departments unanimously resolved to further press the Govt to extend the 7th Pay to work-charged, muster roll, casual employees of Engineering Departments as well as to local bodies also.
