2 day mini legal services camp held

Manipur State Legal Services Authority organised a two day mini legal services camp for enrolment of farmers card, Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), Chief Ministergi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) scheme and free eye screening camp at Andro Legal Aid Clinic from December 2.The event was organised by Manipur State Legal Services Authority in collaboration with State Health Agency, Directorate of Health Services, Manipur; Shija Hospitals and Research Institute, Department of Agriculture, GoM.
The awareness cum enrolment programme focuses on issuing farmer's card and health cards to vulnerable and marginalized beneficiaries such as widow, disabled persons and persons belonging to poor families.
The camp was participated by more than 1000 beneficiaries where a total of 350 farmers were enrolled for farmer's card; 450 vulnerable and marginalized beneficiaries were issued PMJAY and CMHT health cards and a total 110 persons were given free eye screening.
The programme was organized as a part of a pilot project for effective utilization of para legal volunteers of Manipur undertaken by Manipur State Legal Services Authority.
