NPF will be the deciding factor in the government formation

The Nagaland Minister for Soil Conservation and Land Resources, P Longon has exclaimed that the Naga Peoples Front (NPF) will be the deciding factor in the government formation of Manipur with the party all set to return its candidates in all the Naga inhabited areas of the state.
Speaking at the inaugural function of a Sports Meet held at Raisung ground, Maram bazaar today, organized by the Maram Khullen Centre Students and Youth Association, P Longdon said that the Nagas still cannot come under a single roof due to the fact that the Nagas are scattered all over are under different administrations.
The Nagas are still divided by an imaginary boundary.
The divide and rule policy of the British rule in India have separated the unity of the Nagas.
He further went on to say that the main aim of the NPF is to bring an emotional binding among all the Nagas settling in different parts of the North East.
A wind of change has finally arrived in the Naga society and none can stand against the wishes of the Naga people to unite as one.
Speaking on the occasion, Deo Nukhu, MLA of Nagaland said that since the Nagas are unable to come as one, there is the need to find a common platform for the Naga people and the NPF is that common platform.
As such a unit was established in Manipur as well.
MLA of Tadubi a/c, K Raina said that the Nagas are sporting community with huge talents.
But the state government has not provided any good infrastructure in tribal areas of the state in general and Naga inhabited areas in particular.
He further accused the state government of bias attitude towards the tribal sportsperson.
The function was also attended by the King of Maram khullen, Kangnamna and other officials of the NPF.
