'Provide required documents to students of DMU on time'

Dhanamanjuri University Joint Students' Forum expressed concern that the future of students of constituent colleges of DMU who have completed graduation is at stake since the authorities concerned have failed to provide mark sheets and certificates on time.
While speaking to media persons during a press meet held today at DM College of Science, the convenor of DMU Joint Students Forum, Salam Rohen Meitei said that the career of students pursuing BSC, BA, LLB, LLM, Bcom, BBA courses in the constituent colleges of DMU for the academic session 2020-21 is at risk since the mark sheets and certificates of examination from 3rd to 6th semester have not issued on time.
Since the required documents are not provided on time, the students who are aspiring to pursue higher studies in different universities are facing many inconveniences therefore he urged the authorities concerned to look in the matter at the earliest to ensure that the future of the students is secured.
Also he appealed to the Vice Chancellor of DMU to write about the matter to VC of Manipur University so that necessary steps are taken up soon.
Stating that the due to absence of Examination Controller, Registrar and adequate staff, the certificates are not issued on time, he demanded that the for the speedy completion of the ongoing recruitment process of the varsity in the interest of the students.
Further the convenor also requested the authorities concerned to take up measures to speed up the construction work carried out in different constituent colleges.
Regarding the hike of admission fees for the academic session 2021-22 and other issues of the colleges, a memorandum will be submitted to the authority of DMU and expressed belief that the authorities concerned will give proper explanation on the same.
