The fourth session of the 10th Manipur Legislative Assembly will be held only for three days starting from March 6.A decision to this effect was adopted during a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee held today.
The Business Advisory Committee meeting which was held in the new Assembly building at Chingmeirong was presided by Speaker Th Lokeshore and was attended by Chief Minister O Ibobi and NCP MLA L Ibomcha.
As usual, the opening day of the Assembly session would feature Governor Gurbachan Jagat's address to the House.
After the Governor's speech, supplementary demands for grants 2012-13, 2013 budget estimates and vote on account 2013 would be tabled in the State Assembly.
On March 7, Members of the House would deliberate and pass, if possible the supplementary demands for grants 2012-13 as well as the vote on account 2012-13 .
The Manipur Appropriation Bill would also be produced in the House same day.
On March 8, the last day of the session, the ruling Members would push to get the Manipur Appropriation Bill/Government Bills passed after due discussion, informed a source.
