So far just 28 pc of State Plan utilized

The State Plan Expenditure Report which is to be presented during the Plan Review meeting of the North Eastern States scheduled from November 29 to 30 at Guwahati has been finalized.
Accordingly, the Chief Secretary would be leaving for Guwahati tomorrow to attend the meeting.
The Plan Review Meeting of the North Eastern States would be attended by a team of officials from Planning Commission of India including BK Chaturvedi, Member of the Planning Commission.
During the meeting, the Plan Expenditures of Manipur for the fiscal year 2012-13 till November 22 and the Plan Report would be presented.
In this connection, a final round of Preparatory meeting was conducted at the conference hall of Old Secretariat here with Chief Secretary DS Poonia in the chair yesterday.
The agenda of the meeting included reviewing of the Plan Expenditure of the fiscal year 2012-13 till November 22 and final trial for the Power Point presentation which is to be presented during the Plan Review meeting.
The meeting was also attended by Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretaries, Commissioners, Secretaries and Heads of different Departments of the State Government.
During the meeting, the Heads of Departments placed their respective Plan Expenditure Reports.
A trial of the Power Point Presentation of the Expenditure Report of all the Departments of the State Government was also presented.
During the course of the meeting it was revealed that only 28 percent of the whole Plan Expenditure of the State has been utilized so far.
After the end of the meeting, the whole report including the discs for the Power Point Presentation was handed over to the Chief Secretary.
