RK Imo extends support to removing liquor ban

Sagolband AC MLA RK Imo Singh today extended support to the Government's move to legalize liquor in the State.
The MLA lauded the move of the Government while speaking at the inauguration of a newly renovated community hall with offices of Old Lambulane Women Development Society, Old Lambulane Committee and Lambulane Youth Union today.
MLA RK Imo Singh said that the Government's decision to partially lift the ban on alcohol by allowing the sale of alcohol at certain allotted places will lead to reduction of health issues caused by consumption of adulterated alcohol in the State.
He further maintained that through this legalisation, the State Government will be able to generate revenue, which can be used in various developmental work of the State, which otherwise could have been leaking to the pockets of black marketeers.

Regarding the pending developmental works, the MLA assured to complete the black topping of all the roads in Sagolband Constituency.
He also urged people of the Constituency to extend full support to the 'Go to Leikai Campaign', which aims to avail all benefits provided by the Central and State Government to the people.
While highlighting the continuous efforts of Kuki Women Union Manipur for a harmonious Manipur, president of Kuki Women Union Manipur, Avei Haokip praised MLA RK Imo Singh for inaugurating the Community Hall which was built with a sanctioned amount of 37 lakh rupees.
