KCC organises 'Agon de Biblio' to commemorate Kuki Holy Bible Day

In line with the Kuki Holy Bible Day observed by the Kuki Christian Churches across the globe, Kangpokpi Christian Church under the aegis of Kangpokpi Christian Upate (KCU) organised 'Agon de Biblio' - a Bible memory verse recitation competition at kangpokpi DHQs.
It may be noted that the first ever Kuki Holy Bible was released in 1971 in the month of June at Molvom village in Nagaland while the Golden Jubilee was celebrated at Mongkot village in Litan area in Manipur in the year 2011.Ever since the release of the Kuki Holy Bible, the Kuki Christian Church observed June 18 as the Kuki Holy Bible Day.
The 'Agon de Biblio' including Bible quiz to commemorate the Kuki Holy Bible Day was conducted in various categories viz Adult, Chapang Neo (intermediate) and Simtil (beginner).
Nemcha Singson, Lhingpineng Khongsai and Lamngaichong Misao bagged the first, second and third position respectively in the Bible memory verse recitation competition in Adult category while Pastor J Lunkim and his wife bagged the first position in Couple Bible memory verse recitation competition.
In Chapang Neo (intermediate) Bible memory verse competition, Chonghoikim, Chinneilhing and Satgouhao bagged first position and the second position was awarded to Hoilenchong and Chindeijou while Tinneilam bagged the third position.
In Simtil 1 and 2 category, Lhingdeichin, Thangchon and Kimneingah bagged first, second and third position respectively while in Simtil 3 and 4 category, Neipineng bagged first, Neinunhoi, Lamdeineng, Khupmonlal and Janglenlal bagged second and Hatnunhoi and Haogunsang bagged third position.
In Simtil 5 and 6 category, Neihoikim, Lhingminchong and Tongsanglen bagged the first, second and third position respectively while in Simtil category Lamgoulal bagged first, Chinbiakmoi and Lalgunhao bagged second and Nemchanhoi bagged third position.
In Adult Bible Quiz competition, Neinu Lunkim, Kamlal Guite and Jangnunnem Hangshing bagged the first, second and third position respectively.
"We are very happy and fortunate that the translator of the first ever Kuki Holy Bible, Dr Tongkhojang Lunkim, popularly known as Dr T Lunkim is still alive," said Pastor J Lunkim, KCC and added that the Holy Bible has contributed immensely to the development of the Christian community.
He further said that the Bible Society of India has finally approved the publication of Bible Study Commentary book recently and is under process.
The name of the book shall be decided later, he said.
