Model village tag to Naoriya Pakhanglakpa in the offing

Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC MLA Soibam Subhaschandra has assured that he would put in best efforts to make the constituency a model village during his five years term.
He gave the assurance while addressing the 39th foundation day of Ereima Seva Association, Kwakeithel Laishram Leikai cum prize distribution of 24th Ereima Encouragement Award 2018 held today at its premises.
Speaking as chief guest, Subhaschandra said that there would be no partiality when it comes to bringing development in every parts of the assembly constituency.
He pledged blacktopping of roads and maintenance of quality control in development works taken up in the constituency.
He said that emphasis will be laid on producing bright students from the constituency by developing human resources.
Earnest efforts will also be made to improve the Government schools in the constituency and produce more bright students from the constituency, he said.
The MLA further assured that necessary steps will be taken up to control frequent flash flood mainly at Laishram Leikai and Irom Leikai from next year.
Emphasising on the need to strengthen local clubs that are the backbone of the society, he acknowledged the notable role of local clubs towards grooming young students and players.
On the occasion, the 24th Ereima Encouragement Award 2018 was presented to 58 meritorious students of Kwakeithel Laishram Leikai.
Drawing, recitation and song competition were conducted as part of the function which was also attended by O Samungou, president of Ereima Seva Association as president; Adhyaksha, Imphal West, RK Taruni; Pradhans and Ward Members of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa as guests of honour.
