The staff responded that besides improper loos, ceilings of the new building were not finished properly and the centre lacks many equipment.
Meanwhile, a building which is meant for Tronglaobi Primary Health Sub Center has already been completed, but a scuffle with the land owner who donated the land for the Centre has led the staff to open the Centre in a local building which also lacks many facilities.
Speaking to media persons, P Saratchandra said, "It is unfortunate that an important rural hospital like Moirang hospital which provides service to people of Bishnupur district and Chandel district has downgraded to a community health center as it lacks many equipment and facilities" .
He assured that necessary action would be taken up to provide first-class facilities and equipments to all the PHC, PHSC and CHC located in Moirang AC.
