Bharaitya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) president and MP Anurag Thakur would arrive here tomorrow and launch a tourism project called 'Explore Manipur Project' .
Speaking to media persons at BJP office here today, BJYM State unit president O Malesh said that Anurag Thakur would also attend an event titled Youth for Future in addition to launching Explore Manipur Project.
The month long project is aimed at promoting tourism and generation of employment for the State's youth.
Manipur has many places of exquisite natural beauty and its salubrious climate is perfect for tourism but the Government's policy failures have negated the State's immense tourism potential, Malesh said.
All the major tourist spots of the country including Dzuko Valley would be highlighted with enough publicity in the course of the Explore Manipur Project.
He also decried harassment of Mao people and vandalization of their vehicles in Nagaland.
Anurag Thakur, who is also secretary of the Board of Control Cricket India would also inspect the Luwangshangbam cricket field tomorrow before leaving Imphal at 2 pm.
