AMEA holds press conference

Following the success of North East India International trade fair 2016 held at Mandalay, Myanmar, from December 10 to 11, the president of the All Manipur Entrepreneur Association S Rishikumar said the two day fair was an eye opener for entrepreneurs of the State to boost business opportunities.
Interacting with media persons at Classic Grande, Rishikumar said the AMEA in association with State Department of Commerce and Industries and Consulate General of India, Mandalay, organised a two-day North East International Trade Fair at Mandalay.
All together, 42 stalls including GNRC from Guwahati and others from Manipur, were set up at the international trade fair.
The two-day trade fair was attended by Mandalay Ministers and other officials.
Entrepreneurs from the State and neighbouring States, were provided a platform to ink Memorandum of Understandings with Mandalay entrepreneurs to increase trade activities.
Rishikumar appreciated the support from the State Department of Chamber of Commerce and Industries and said that there are feasibilities of invitations for attending such trade fairs in the future.
While MD of Food Processing and Industrial Department N Joykumar said there is need for follow up programmes to promote business link-up of State entrepreneurs with the neighbouring States and countries.
