Imphal, April 22 2015 :
A memorandum will be submitted to CM Ibobi by the Electricity Department Die-In-Harness Association (EDDIHA) appealing to bring an end to the restriction on recruiting Die-In-Harness applicants.
A press release issued by EDDIHA President, Yunus Khan, recruiting Die-In-Harness applicants has been avoided since the 'Die-In-Harness Scheme' was not including in the MOU signed at the time of conversion of Manipur Electricity Department into Manipur State Power Co-operation Limited (MSPCL).
The applicants under the scheme were told that the government has to take a decision consulting the Power, Finance and DP Departments before taking up any decision regarding the appointment process.
However no steps/decision has been taken up till date.
Further EDDIHA said that the issued was taken up by MLA in the cabinet.
However not clear response was made by the CM who has been holding charge of Power Deptt.
