Two juveniles rescued

Senapati, January 22 2016 :
Two juveniles from Senapati district have been rescued and
brought back home today, our correspondent reports.
According to District Child Welfare Committee member
Komuha Jajuo, CWC, Senapati, one of the duo was found
at Peren district of Nagaland.
The child was reportedly on
his way to Imphal but somehow landed at Peren.
He was
referred to Child Welfare Committee (CWC) Dimapur by
CWC Peren.
In a similar case, another child who reportedly ran away
from home was rescued by Bangalore police from
Bangalore Railway Station.
The child was received by
CHILDLINE Dimapur.
District Child Protection Officer (DCPO), Dimapur
escorted both the boys from Dimapur to Mao.
Protection Officer (IN) Senapati received the boys at
Mao and handed them over to the CWC, Senapati.
The boys are presently kept under the care and protection
of Compassion Children Ministries at Kathikho
Karong.
