AR rescue seven children

Imphal, February 20 2011:
Troops of 43 Assam Rifles have rescued seven children who were taken by the KNF(P) for recruiting as their cadres, PRO (Defence Wing) claimed today.
Four of the seven rescued children, Ngamgolai son of Jankhojang Khongsai, Janmithang son of Dousci Khongsai, Ngamfinluri Khongsai son of Dougam, Jenkholam son of Kemjang are from Saichang village while Lungoulen Vaiphei son of Luthang, Luniam Vaiphei son of Sellen and Leimin Lal Vaiphei are from of Molkon village.
They were of age group 14 to 19 year.
A statement of the PRO said that they were rescued by the troops during an operation launched based on a tip-off that the children were taken by KNF (P) to Kangpokpi.
The act of the KNF(P) is violation of the suspension of ground rule Suspension of Operation (SoO) agreement and being viewed seriously, warned to desist from such overtures in future, the statement added.
