DCDA/ZB Manipur demand for cancellation of DPC results

The District Concern Development Association, DCDA and Zeliangrong Baudi Manipur in a joint press statement demanded cancelation of Primary teacher DPC result alleging that ADC Tamenglong violating the rule and regulation of the Right to Education as framed under the Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, SSA Govt.of India.
The statement signed by Canaan Panmei, Secy DCDA and M.Akham Info Secy ZB Manipur said that DCDA and ZB Manipur is not pleased with recruitment procedure of recently conducted Asst.
Teacher under the Tamenglong Autonomous District Council.
The concerned authority has a bias attitude favouring some particular candidate for their self-gain in the recent recruitment procedure of Asst.
Teacher under the Tml.
ADC, which is not acceptable to the public.
Besides the primary objective of RTE act 2009 as framed by the SSA is to impart quality Education to all the children.
However, Tml.
ADC is deviating from the SSA norms and directive which give due importance to recruitment and employment rather than imparting quality Education.
The DCDA/ZB, Manipur has questioned whether Tml.
ADC is a job recruitment Agency or Educational institute the release added.
The release further mentioned that in total contravention with the larger public interest CEO, Tml.
ADC has recruited a number of Asst.
Teachers with his own discretion.
On the recommendation of the DPC a common viva voice was held on Dec.
18th 2010 to 11th Jan 2011 held at the Tml.
ADC office Memo No.1/12/2005-06 TADC/DPC (Pt) as per Govt.Approval vide letter No.2/32/2009-CHA/Tml Dated 22nd 2010 read with rule No.45 of Manipur (hills) District Council rule.
It is also mentioned that under the memo number, various orders were issued on different dates i.e.22nd April 2010, 30th July 2010 and the recruitment has not stopped till date.
Many Asst.
Teachers cannot be included in the MGEL due to excess appointments not corresponding to the vacant post.
The DCDA/ZB, Manipur further demanded for the cancellation or termination of the particular order and arrangement for conducting fresh DPC on the larger interest.
In case of failure to redress their complaint, legal notice will be sought from the court or stern agitation will be launched and the CEO Tamenglong ADC will be held responsible for any act of commission whatsoever, the release added.
