Rajnath promises elevating Chaoba

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh who paid a visit to the State today ahead of the forthcoming Assembly election assured that Th Chaoba who will be contesting in the election from Nambol A/C on BJP ticket would be made an influential political leader if he wins the election and the saffron party forms the next Government.
The Union Minister was taking part in the flag hoisting ceremony of Th Chaoba, convenor of BJP State Election Management Committee at Utlou Mayai Leikai today.
Addressing the gathering as chief guest, Rajnath asserted that Th Chaoba who had held the post of Union Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of the State is a qualified leader.
He said that Bharatiya Janata Party would form the next Government and appealed to the voters of Nambol A/C to elect Chaoba in the election.
Contending that 15-year rule of Congress Government is the root cause of the burning issues confronting the State, he claimed that the Congress Government only created chaos and insecurity amongst the people in its long rule.
The Home Minister clarified that delay in construction of National Sports University in the State is due to some hurdles faced in acquiring land.
The flag hoisting ceremony organised by BJP Nambol Mandal was attended by its president Salam Brajamani, BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav, BJP State unit president K Bhabananda, vice-president AR Khan, Bishnupur district president RK Bimola, N Mangi, BJP candidate from Kumbi A/C and P Sharatchandra, BJP candidate from Moirang A/C.Thousands of people were also present at the occasion.
