Institute of Rural Education (IRE),Wangjing in Collaboration
with Patriotic Writers Forum,Manipur and WinG (Women in
Governance),Thoubal will be conducting an eight-day long
National children residential painting camp under the title 2nd
Brain-Drain Exposia from January 31 to February 7 at the In-
stitute of Rural Education (IRE) Complex, Wangjing,
Thoubal, our correspondent reports.
Brain-Drain Exposia is especially designed for art lov-
ing children between the age group of 7 to 15 years,
Rajivkumar Narengbam, programme co-ordinator of the
2nd Brain-Drain Exposia-IRE stated.
The residential camp hopes to make children realize
their inner potential through the medium of art, Rajivkumar
stated.
Other than interaction programmes, basic concept and
skill development, practical study of drawing and painting
will be demonstrated by noted artists of Manipur during
the camp.
Meitei Mayek will also be taught to the partici-
pants at the camp.
Students from Cachar, Hojai, Guwahati and Tripura
will be participating the eight-day residential camp.
