Raising strong objection against the Government's plan to set up a Ram Krishna Mission School after abolishing Uripok Tondonsana Residential School, the Parents' Committee of the school has decided to call a 24 hour general strike with effect from 6 am of November 19 .
Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club here today, Uripok Tondonsana Parents' Committee advisor Ahongsangbam Pholen said that the school is a very old one and it has its own history.
Around 300 students are presently studying in the school and 100 of them are staying in the school.
