Mass social service held

Kakching police in association with the Alliance for Development Alternative-Manipur (ADAM), Kakching held a mass social service camp at Angaan Ching Eco park, Kakching as part of ADAM's Clean Kakching, Greeen Kakching Campaign, initiated on September 30 at Irabot Park, Kakching Keithel, and in support of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan today.
More than 400 people including students and teachers from Grace Cottage Academy, Kakching took part in the programme.
The programme, organised at the initiative of Rishikesh Sharma, OC, Kakching police station, was also attended by the Branch manager and staff of SBI, Kakching branch, Ksh Krishnadas Singh, proprietor M/s Kshetri Beikul AOD, Kakching, N Nopur Singh, Proprietor M/s Bhubon brick field and media persons.
The participants later undertook the Swachhta pledge led by ADAM secretary Surjit Kshetrimayum.
Kakching OC Rishikesh further made a public announcement along the Kakching Lourel and Kakching - Langmeidong roads appealing to the people to stop the practice of burning waste along roadsides and piling up straws and other agricultural waste.
