A team of the United Naga Council (UNC) led by its president, S Kho John visited St Joseph's Higher Secondary School in Sugnu on Tuesday and extended solidarity to the institute, reports NNN.
St Joseph's Higher Secondary School was burnt down by miscreants on April 25 .
After the incident no classes have been held, according to the UNC team.
The UNC team also met the school authority and gave "a small amount of money" .
According to the UNC team, they went all the way to Sugnu as the matter was serious.
The UNC team said that St Joseph's Higher Secondary School has produced so many leaders and professionals.
"The institute is immensely contributing to the society", the UNC team added.
The UNC team then strongly condemned the arson at the school and termed it as "very unfortunate" .
It also appealed all concerned to help classes resume at the earliest.
"We are very mudh concerned for the students as they are not going to school at the moment", the UNC added.
